New 2013 SAB and SuDS Approval Training Programme

Written by: , 27 Aug 2013

Arup, Hydro International and Micro Drainage are collaborating again this year to organise another series of training for SABs and organisations submitting SuDS schemes for approval.  The training will be two-day sessions in various locations.

Guidance and training provided by Defra has helped to clarify what local authorities are required to implement, the training covers how.  This SAB training package will support the delegates to compile the correct level of detail in order for a planning application to be considered valid and in a timely manner.

The content has been generated by practitioners with extensive experience both in the UK and overseas to help build skills and capacity within local authorities whilst ensuring that technical submissions are audited thoroughly in a timely manner.

The training has been produced to enable the proper consideration of surface water and the use of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), which is key to the successful management of both existing and future flood risk.

The courses are supplemented with a Guidance Document and a Workflow Chart as well as detailed notes and presentations.

The first two-day session will be held on:

3rd and 4th October 2013 in Surrey

Each day can be booked at £395 +VAT per person per day, or £750.50 +VAT for the two days.

All places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

To book a place at one of the training sessions please visit the Micro Drainage website.
