Defra has published its final report on progress made since Sir Michael Pitt’s seminal review into the devastating floods of 2007.
According to the report , 43 of the review’s 92 recommendations have already been implemented and a further 40 are in the process of being implemented. Many of the review’s conclusions became embodied in the Flood and Water Management Act 2010.
