Infiltration Under the Gardens of Yorkshire Homes
For a new 32 home development in the little Wolds town of Market Weighton, East Yorkshire, Barratt York Ltd was required by local planners to ensure that the stormwater runoff did not exceed the discharge consents for the area. Consultant Engineer Carl Cawthorne of Building Design (Beverley) Ltd specified Hydro International’s Stormbloc® modular blocks to provide essential soil infiltration and avoid the requirement for storage or the control of discharge into a watercourse.
